We’re Kata and Peter — the owners and operators of Aqua Panda Sail. Peter’s nickname is Panda, a name that stuck long before the boat and became part of the name.

 

We live onboard our catamaran and host every trip ourselves. When you sail with us, you’re sailing with the people who actually live this life. There’s no rotating crew or handovers — just us, the boat and the sea.

 

We believe sailing holidays work best when they’re private, flexible and unhurried.Instead of fixed routes or programmes, each trip adapts to the group, the weather and the moment. Some days are active, others are slow — both are equally welcome.

 

Our home and workplace is a Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 catamaran. It’s designed for comfortable live-aboard sailing, with generous shared spaces and a calm, practical layout.

We manage the boat ourselves and sail independently using systems such as solar power and water-making.

 

Life onboard is relaxed, practical and well cared for.

We also live onboard with our dog, Csoda.

She’s part of everyday life on the boat and usually happiest with a shady spot and a quiet anchorage.

 

Between us, we’ve spent many years sailing and living onboard.

Good seamanship, safety and respect guide every decision, while the atmosphere remains informal and easygoing.
